my next stop on the atlas path is an underwater building without any way of entering it - it has no interactive elements at all (a common glitch, it seems)

how do i continue? leave the path and wait for another space anomaly? or will i get another pointer if i go to another system? or will it keep directing me back to this (broken) one?

Wow, good questions, I haven't got that far down the Atlas Path. How do you know what your next stop is? I thought it was all in space.

ah i got the waypoint from Fizzle and Squirt or whatever their names are, at a space anomaly - when meeting them i chose the 'resume the atlas path' option and it leads to that building

Lol, I just met them again, and chose atlas path. it was a way-point to another star system. Got the 3rd atlas stone. Thanks for responding.

I had something like this. Went to a building you can`t enter cos it`s part in water. Seems buildings part in water are blocked off to you. If they`re fully underwater there are some with doors open.

this one was fully underwater, about 100 feet down i'd guess, almost unreachable without the underwater membrane upgrade. i wrote it off as a bug and left the system, hoping the trail will start again from somewhere else.

btw, if anyone's looking for a challenge - try swapping over to a new crashed ship on a dead high temperature firestorm planet. around 20 of the modules needed repairing, and i could spend only a few seconds out of the ship each time before suit power ran out. i managed to get it running, but for a couple of the omega modules on it i still haven't found the goodies needed to fix yet

Did you try stripping (dismantling everything) your ship for resources?

oh definitely, but you only get back around half of some and none of the others

i did it again, swapped over to another 48-slot ship just because it looked nicer. now scurrying around trying to find stuff. again.

Yeah, I used to carry strategic metals with me when I was trading ships a lot, and extra Grav Balls, Resonators, Neutrino things. Instead of just leaving a ship I didn't want, I would strip it for parts and metals. Now I am doing it for profit. It seems like a good way to make quick cash. Find a crashed ship, strip it, sell off the parts and metals.

One of my toughest (and most rewarding) part of this game was when I found a crashed ship I really wanted on an extrenely radioactive planet with very frequent radioactive storms. I had to hop in and out of my ship like a bunny rabbit trying to fix this new one. Then I ran out of zinc and plutonium and had to risk running and jet-jumping all the way to a ship port that I could just see in the distance to get more supplies. I only just made it there with my suit life support gone. I was so happy when I found an area behind that round trade module thing that keeps you safe from the storm and radioactive effects.

Then I had to go back several times, timing the storms just right so I got caught in as little as possible. I nearly didn`t make it. :)

You could also dig a hole in the ground with your grenades and will shelter you from any negative climate effects.

That was before I knew you could do that. Didn`t think the game could do it.

i've been sent to 2 more underwater buildings, one was ok but the other was completely missing. both involved a constant stream of sentinels attacking me the whole way there, the whole way back again

i used to think of sentinels as robotic cops and peacekeepers, but after doing a few 'aggressive' worlds, i've discovered what they really are - metal arseholes that need to be destroyed on sight.

no more running and hiding. see a sentinel, kill a sentinel.

That`s about right. Sounds like you was on a `Frenzied` world too. They shoot on sight on those planets.
