Don't forget that this is a tiny studio and while they might have just made a ton of money I doubt they had time to hire people to scour the net for info about their own game.

For actual gog problems I am sure they can trust the staff here to give them all important information.
Ideas are nothing unique and you can be pretty sure anything said here will be said on steam or any other forum really.
So just check the largest community when you aren't busy fixing the real bugs of your game and you are set.
But sure if you want to spend another 10k $ a month you can of course hire people to just cater to the masses.
One thing I`ve learned is to always make your voice heard - even to small Devs. The smaller Devs often listen best as they`re not hidden on an ivory tower shielded by `yes` people, like some that get big. I`ve even had my request ideas responded to and implemented. I even once had the Dev of another game phone me up and talk to me about the game!! I kid you not.

I`ll get the message to them.
Hi guys. I really love this game. :) it is amazing, but I hope that Hello Games will continue its development., bcs it needs to be fixed lot of things.

What really piss me off is automatic hiding of HUD (and hitting "h" all the time)
It needs the way to set own waypoints on planets.

and more ...
While there are many excellent suggestions, and I certainly have plenty of my own, this is probably not the best place to post them, at least not if you want Hello Games to see them.

Why not post them anyway? I could include them in the list i`ll bring to the Devs.

Very well. Lots of things have been mentioned already, but here are a few of my pet peeves with the game.

1. Stop taking away control for long periods
Every time you save at a new save point, or get a reward of some sort, the game goes into "cinematic mode", pulling black bars in from the top and bottom for that "cinematic feel", and takes away your control of the game for ages. It really contributes to making the gameplay feel slow as fuck. I don't need a 15 second "cutscene" every time I save the game at a new waypoint. It's not so bad the first few times, but after a while I'm just impatiently tapping my feet, thinking "Just let me get on with the game already!"

The same thing applies to the signal scanners as well. The animation where it zooms up into the air, pauses, and then zooms back down to point in the general direction of the target takes far too long, and is really annoying.

2. Stop hogging the GUI
When you save the game, even if it isn't the first time you've used that save point, the "game saved" message stays on the screen for ages. Since there is only that center part of the screen reserved for anything the game wants to tell you, that means that if you open some of the crates that usually accompany a save point right after you save, you can't see what's in them. Now, I'm a fast reader, but I imagine even slow readers can get through "game saved" in no more than a second, especially once you've seen it 200 times, and considering that the game is telling you what you just asked it to do.

3. Give us a way to remove marked locations
Whenever you get a waypoint from a Scanner or a Colonial Outpost, the only way to remove it from the radar is to go there. However, you frequently get waypoints for places you've already been to. It wouldn't be so much of a problem if waypoints were only active for the planet you are on, but they are active in the entire star system. Hence, if you get a waypoint on your radar on a planet, and then leave for another planet without going to the waypoint first, it stays on your radar until you go to a different star system.
Good suggestions! Especially the cinematic thing. That annoys me too.
Voice Over toggle or volume slider. SFX/Music slider's don't affect the Voice Over volume, and the more you play the more annoying that voice over aka captain obvious becomes.

Yep, Just yesterday I wanted to reduce that annoying computer voice volume and I realised there`s no option for that.

Why can`t we have a gentle female voice that`s soothing rather than this grating weird voice? Better still a voice we can change to the tone/pitch we want.

Added to the list.
1. Get rid of the long press to activate. Leave it only for discarding items.
2. Add a jump to nearest system to the core that is reachable with the current jump drive option to the star map.
3. Add numbers to all the tooltips. How many lightyears range a jump drive upgrade will bring for example.
4. Add a button to switch off railroading while flying over a planet. If I want to crash into a surface and die let me.
5. During mouse flight the ship controls like in freelancer but lacks the visual indicator that makes it obvious what is happening. Add it.
6. Add the ability to stop the ship.
7. Add keyboard shortcuts for often used things like refuel thrusters or refuel environment protection. Do not open a menu for that hotkey just do it. For things that can use multiple sources a menu for specifying preference which to use first would be nice but not essential if the preset is sensible. For example shield shards get used before zink.

Some great stuff there.
Not being able to fly low is really annoying, although strangely it does let you fly low at odd times especially after take off, but then starts `floating` you away as if to say, `No, no, you might hurt yourself!`. Like you, I want to fly as low as I want even if I crash and burn into some alien hillside.

I`ve really gotten to like the long press now. It`s good especially when trying to grab something on a planet that`s between other stuff and you can avoid grabbing the wrong thing. But you still make a good point. You don`t really need it.

I once had some pirates follow me into the atmosphere. It was really hard to get rid of them because I couldn't really manoeuver.

As for the long clicking I rarely found anything that I didn't want to take that requires clicking. It mostly slows down the flow. The most annoying I found it to be on the star map. How long it takes to traverse along the path is ridiculous.

Two more ideas for improving the star map
1. Add a sphere of range overlay in free mode so you can easily see where you can go without having to click systems.
2. Keep displaying the paths to waypoints even in free mode.

6- This would be so helpful on planets so we can land exactly where we want.

7- I'm playing with a gamepad but I have to say, leaving out hot keys for the keyboard is bizarre. It's such a basic function of PC gaming. Leaving out hotkeys and mouse look while flying makes me wonder if anyone at Hello Games tested the game with a keyboard and mouse.

I`m learning to land with some precision now. I even landed right on a landing bay on a planet.

From what I`ve learned they only really made console games so it seems they suffer from consolitis. You`re right the mouse controls should be better, especially when in the cockpit. Also no crouch, which seems a weird omission for a game of this type.
