I have just purchased VR and am happy to hear they`re working on VR for NMS, but will it also work on GOG as I would prefer to use this platform?

There's been no official word, but given the fact that GOG already has some VR games and also the fact the HG (even if they're slow sometimes) is supporting the GOG version like the other platforms, there's no reason to assume it won't appear here as well.

Thanks. I didn`t know there were any VR games on GOG. Do you know what they are?

Offhand, all I can think of is Hellbalde: Senua's Sacrifice because it's in my library. In another thread someone list a couple others, but I don't recall what they are.
Thnx, I`ll check it up.

Isn't Obsidian VR on GOG? Not sure, though.

A little bit late, but you're probably referring to this list of VR games I've posted.

I'm really tempted to buy No Man's Sky (on sale right now), but there's still no official word about VR support on GOG so...

Yep, that was it, Doc. :)

If NMS seems like your type of game, I'd highly recommend grabbing a copy, VR or not. I personally feel it's brilliant.
NMS is the first game in which I really expect VR. I hope that there will be no delay on GOG as it was with MP.
Would be an absolute disaster if VR didn't come to GoG.

I'd question ever making a big purchase on the platform again.

I've been buying all my major single player purchases with them.

So far everything from NMS came to Gog. Sometimes with delay (mostly the online stuff), but it came. Why the panic VR would not arrive here? Since it has not more or less online components as added vehicles or base-building I see no reason why it should be any more problematic than a game adding gamepad control or any other device support.

Because it is not simply a game mechanic. It needs drivers and additional software to run correctly.

I wasn't aware of any VR titles running on GoG when i posted.
Well I liked Obduction which is VR on GOG. Looking for more. NMS sure is taking their time releasing their VR version.
Honestly, we don't even know for sure that any of this update is coming to GOG. The trailer didn't have the GOG logo at the end of it and we didn't get a huge piece of the last major NMS update either.

Also, the trailer shows "SteamVR" and "PSVR" logos meaning it looks like they're using Steam and PS APIs to deliver VR. I'd honestly be surprised if we got any VR or multiplayer features.

Hmm, what was that piece we didn't get? I thought all we were missing on update launch was MP, but that eventually came. Was there something else?

I do agree, it's worrying there's no mention of GOG on the trailer. I mean, we don't need VR to enjoy the game but we should have the option, like Steam and PS4 users get :/
That said... if they're using Steam and PSVR APIs and that's why there's no GOG logo... then why advertise Xbox One?
