Does anyone know where the savegames are located?

Thanks

I was coming here to ask the same question, lol. I let my son play it while I had lunch, because I wanted to restart it on a less instantly lethal planet, but now I can't find saved game location.
CTRL+Shift+ESC, Tab Performance, Ressource Monitor.
Tick NMS.exe, and look for drive activity while loading / saving your game!

OK, I'm an idiot, I found the folder inside Local Disk>Users>*my name*>AppData>Roaming>HelloGames>NMS>DefaultUser

But I don't see anything that looks like 'saved game' or any variation on it, I'm afraid of deleting anything that I'm not sure of, lol.

OK, I bit the bullet and moved the whole 'defaultuser' folder to my desktop (just in case) and when I booted up NMS the saved games were gone, so for anyone else, it's safe to delete that folder with saved info in it, the game will make a new one for you that is empty when you boot up again.

If you wanna manage your save and don't know which one it is and can't find out with the little trick I mentioned above, just treat the folder as a whole as the save. Create a Folder like [BACKUP] or [ARCHIVE] or something next to, or inside of it, zip the whole folders contents, name that with a date or whatever, and drop it inside the backup folder.

Whenever you want to "switch", just backup the current contents there, and unzip another.
