Hello everyone,

I bought the pre-order version of the game and I installed it with the manual installer first, then updated it to gog galaxy for online stuff, and redeemed my free spacecraft. Then I agree to take the guidance of the atlas thing, but then next time I loaded the game, it forgot I asked for guidance and there was no more guidance after that. So I would like to reinstall the game, but will I be able to redeem my ship again? Has anyone tried this?

Goto %appdata%\hellogames delete everything in there and it will restart your game and u can redeem spaceship again

I know this wasn't what you're asking about but I think you can turn guidance on or off just by choosing guided or free explorer or whatever it's called in the map screen.

I think it's even simpler to get the ship again. Just unselect the DLC in galaxy, let it complete removing it, then reselect it. The option should appear in game again.

I enabled it after I played a few hours just to look at the ship. When I saw it was way worse than what I already had I decided not to pick it. The problem is there was an annoying message telling me to get my free ship, even though I had no intention of ever getting it since mine was better. I just unselected the DLC and the problem went away.

I tried that just now, but the game won't get past the initialize screen, when you hold the button is says to press, nothing happens. I kept my folder that I deleted in another directory in case such a thing would happen so I was able to bring it back to being playable but I am wondering if I do a clean uninstall can I still redeem my spaceship again?

I thought the guidance was more than just that, doesn't it lead you to aliens you need to meet to get blueprints or stuff? I'm not sure myself because I think it stopped working, as when was at the start game point, it asked me twice if I wanted guidance and I said yes both times, but after I fixed my ship it and saved and came back later to play there was no more hints like go to this alien and he will help you with this part or whatever it is supposed to do. ?.?
