One of the planets I found listed PURE FERRITE (twice) in the description - I've been searching the planet for several hours and haven't been able to find any of the PURE FERRITE deposits. There are plenty of large (above ground) rocks with Pure Ferrite, but I'm looking for a deposit (Like Copper, Pyrite, Paraffinium, etc) that I can place auto Miners on.

Has anyone seen any of these? I'm beginning to wonder if they actually exist...

Thanx!!!

Not that I am aware of; but since these rocks have the Pure Ferrite as a primary resource I do think this is working as intended since they do have a good payoff mining them.

Unlike the planets which are noted as having Uranium and only have it as secondary on some rocks which I am convinced is not working as intended. Also my memory keeps trying to convince me that I saw big Uranium deposit pockets on these planets before...
I have only found pure uranium in metal fingers

Apparently there are PF deposits I just never really bothered looking for them to realize it. I recently landed on a toxic planet for Ammonia and found myself surrounded by Pure Ferrite deposits. No Ammonia though... (in relevant quantities that is).

I actually thought about this thread last night, as I found a planet with the pure ferrite resource. I had no idea they existed until this thread popped up and then all of a sudden I find a planet with it. Weird.

.... !

Quick Instgtr, make threads about Ammonium and Uranium!

:D

I have a crapton of uranium. I like to do a lot of exploration on foot and have found metal fingers on many planets (some with quite a lot of the metal fingers). Each finger gives you 200+ uranium, so I'm basking in the warm glow of piles of it now...

I know of these. I usually stumble over them when I do not need it and find everything else when I do ;)

edit
If you read the description on both Ammonium & Uranium it should be in same type of deposits on radiated/toxic planets as Dioxide & Phosphorus is on ice/fire planets.

edit2
and considering the overwhelming amount of Pure Ferrite deposits on the last toxic planet I visited I'm 95% sure that this is bugged and at least half of them where actually supposed to be Ammonia deposits.

Yeah, I think you're right on this one.
