Anybody getting rewards for doing these? The mission NPC just waves his arms around when you turn it in but not showing any actual rewards being issued.

In a Youtube video of Beyond I have seen a message pop-up saying 300k are added to the player's credits, this after the player did shot down a pirate, so I assume the devs have changed that in Beyond and you should get rewards, but I sitll have to check it for myself.

I think you're correct. It is giving rewards, it just doesn't look like it. No text, just awkwardly staring at each other for a minute before going back to the mission screen.
