So GoG will not be my first choice anymore, when it comes to Games that have Online components like Multiplayer etc.

GoG is always late with NMS updates.

I really really like GoG and the fact that games i payed for are really mine. Well done GoG!

But when it comes to Online Gaming and Mod Support... That is not the Biggest strength of GoG.

Still nothing! That update is a important one and i would love to check it out! I sendet in some feedback.
Yeah, I've stopped by games from GOG. As much as I loathe Steam, I would rather have games properly supported.

Last Thursday and Friday were normal business days in Poland. November 1, 2021 is a national holiday in Poland so GOG may be taking the day off but in any event since it is after 7:30 PM in UTC+1 little to no chance of this happening until November 2, 2021, at the earliest.

Had a feeling about that.
GoG is an ant compared to Steam, and I'll bet they don't have any "overseas offices" that could maintain 24/7/365 support of the GoG platform. DRM free gaming comes with at cost :)

Yeah, today is / was a national holiday. And I have the feeling that Friday, they tried to put the new update on but something went wrong, since the entire NMS store page was gone for about a quarter hour. Still, sucks. Would have loved to have played with my friends this weekend.

I received a reply from a live person that stated that they are aware of the problem and it will be corrected shortly. No time frame mentioned or why they didn't have this updated last Thursday or Friday.

A reply from a live person is a nice touch. But it sounds rather like a dismissal. My guess, as it is nearly 4:00 PM there, we probably won't see something until tomorrow at the earliest

And just in time. There's a new experimental out which fixes some more small but annoying glitches.

The good news is that HG continues to fix bugs. The bad news is that there are always a few new bugs. ;-)

At least one of the "fixes" doesn't work and has actually worsened. The settlement that was blocked by terrain and after checking a few times it is even more blocked to the point where even the computer characters no longer can go in or out.

The fauna fix will take many planets to determine how "effective" this was but so far I see this as a failure although they did use "rare" instead of the most widespread issue of "common underwater."
