So, GOG doesn't seem to find the 3.71 update. I've had it verify the game, check for updates, etc. But nothing. It shows the latest version as 3.70. But this creates a version mismatch with people who have updated to 3.71 (practically everyone at this point, on PC and console). I'm at a loss for what to do.

I just checked my install. I'm still on 3.70.
Could this create issues with joining multiplayer sessions, since the rest of the world are on 3.71?

It will create a version mismatch if you attempt multiplayer sessions. I attempted to get around this by trying to join up with a friend in game and joining their group, but they couldn't even see me (despite having the network enabled and all crossplay settings correct). So until they push through the update, it's going to be pretty lonely in the game.
well unless it comes in the next few hours i guess it'll be monday before we see the patch

ohwell

Don't know if anyone noticed yet, but - the NMS Store Page is gone as of right now.
https://www.gog.com/game/no_mans_sky

It just redirects back to the GoG Store.

I was wondering why GoGdb showed a "This product can't currently be accessed, so the data might be outdated!" message when trying to check on which version was currently on GoG...
https://www.gogdb.org/product/1446213994#builds

I'mma hope that's just what happens during them updating the game to the newest version or something and it's gonna be on .71 in like 10 minutes or so...

*Update:
Ah, yep, page is back up now. Literally as I post this, lol. Was gone for a solid 10 minutes at the very least.

Unfortunately, there is still no update to the Changelog or the Build list on the site. And I just checked for an update in the app, nothing. I think we're going to be stuck until Monday unless someone throws a switch before leaving the office for th weekend in shortly.

Yep.

Altho, the store page was gone for a short time. That stuff doesn't happen on its own, gotta be related to the new patch. Maybe someone did an oopsie and the game files became so broken, it had to be restored back to the last working one before they allowed anyone new to purchase and download a not working game, for example.

So, maybe they already tried, but something went wrong? IDK. I couldn't play with friends all day yesterday already, and I would really like to be able to play again...

It makes me wonder how this may affect the Weekend Mission though. Hopefully, it updates independently. I guess there will be one less Qitanian offering assistance at the event. *Le sigh*
Has anyone submitted support tickets? Maybe if enough people do so we might finally attract some attention although there is little to no chance of any help until Monday at the earliest. There have been times when even the Galaxy updates were delayed for several business days and even some releases skipped.

I submitted tickets to both GOG and Hello Games making sure to include that release announcements almost always say "all platforms" and that Experimental updates are released to "PC." I also added reference to how GOG users are banned from Experimental and Twitch Drops including that GOG states that the decision was not entirely GOG's.

It's not unusual for it to SOMETIMES take a few days for a patch to show up.

So, for me, there is nothing I would feel like doing, except just wait longer.

No support ticket from me..

/shrug
Great timing (/s) for that to happen, though. I've got friends I've been wanting to play something with for the longest time already, which just so happen to have picked up NMS very recently. So they're playing, and I can't join... =|
Thank you @CHEWYWEARENOTHOME for the Tickets

So GoG will not be my first choice anymore, when it comes to Games that have Online components like Multiplayer etc.

GoG is always late with NMS updates.

I really really like GoG and the fact that games i payed for are really mine. Well done GoG!

But when it comes to Online Gaming and Mod Support... That is not the Biggest strength of GoG.

Still nothing! That update is a important one and i would love to check it out! I sendet in some feedback.
I send a Support Ticket too.
I can't understand why this Update takes so long.
The last ones where identical to Steam, but this takes ages...
