I hate nms for many things, such as the asteriods and swirl brighr coloured space. I also hate how they crossplatformed it,but one thing i never see any one talk about is the sound.
I have a 7.2 klisch dolby atmos system, and the way they configured it just works perfect. They only used low frequency sounds for space ship expolsions, landing, and astroids. So that .2 means i have 2 12 inch powered subs. So instead of just a constant room shake from all sounds it only happens when those things exist. Which is fun cause they are on each side of my bed, and when i land the entire bed shakes like i was landing.
Then the surround sound is top notch, you can def hear everything all around you. So with a vr helmet and 7.2 dolby atmos surround it really feels like you are in the game :).
I am gonna assume no one talks about it because no one actually uses dolby atmos for pc games, but it is literally better than going feom a low end led to a oled gysnc.
