Meh, I saw it on sale for $26.99 on PSN and just decided to grab it there. I don't game on GoG much more anyway, and since I'm starting fresh it's a good time to jump over there and get trophies etc. Maybe one of my gaming buddies will jump in as well.

Well yes it takes time to get the build ready for whatever platform you are releasing on. Then they have to upoad it, and depending on how fast their connection is, it could take a bit of time. Unless of course they have already uploaded it ealier which is possible.

I doubt it'll happen today, not trying to be negative, but GoG is usually behind the herd when it comes to updates, Hello Games has a bad track record with content parity between Steam and GOG versions of NMS, just being realistic about it so I don't get my hopes up.

I'm sure someone will tell me how wrong I am and read my words with an angry tone, and respond defensively though.

Probably won't be an hour, as much as I like GOG they take forever to push out game updates =/

Granted I haven't been here for awhile so maybe its changed...

I stopped buying games here because it was days after steam before we finally got updates... hope that isn't the case still.

Your line of thinking is outdated. Ever since they added the Galaxy dev portal, updating on GOG is as trivial as it is on Steam. Before that, sure, GOG was behind the herd.

I'm afraid you're right, - it's past 8pm in Europe now, so unlikely to happen. It's a little disappointing that there's so little communication from GoG on updates for major titles. Even a "we're working on it" would have been useful. We seem to be the poor cousin of Steam in every sense of the word.
