So as the 'Waking Titan' ARG is seemingly part of something to do with NMS, i've mostly not been following very closely as i just don't really have time to mess around in an ARG.

However this reddit thread sounds kind of interesting, and suggests a theory that HG might be trying to explain what happened to the game during development and near release as part of the ARG:

So people are thinking that a 1.3 update is due in August (or shortly after).

Off course it may not be that, but the wording in that link is seemingly pointing at something called 1.3, which would fit to NMS updates. Fingers crossed.

Makes sense. It's in keeping with the timing of the previous updates and would coincide with the one year anniversary. Be interesting to see what they come up with!

Meanwhile, I'm trying Survival mode, grinding Dynamic Resonators in a space station not far from my initial planet. Saving up for a nice, roomy Class A hauler with decent shielding. Not very sexy but at least I don't have to keep dodging Sentinels while I putz around.
