So, back at launch I grabbed the game and was extremely miffed at the things said, that turned out to be false, and got a refund, because it was $60!...and the negativity kept mounting...

the game is now $36, and I have witnessed 2 updates...I think HG is Trying to do some good here, and I've bought the game again, this time, even if it's the same I don't need a refumd, because it's decently priced.

Instead, a bit of positive thinking is what I'm going to be doing, I've found it has vastly improved many areas of my life, and made me realise many things aren't truly "That bad"

I will use this forum page to document my new and improved journey through the game, and share my little enjoyances I get out of it with all of you <3

(Also I picked up Both UT games, the Spore collection, and Carmageddon max pack) :D
Behold the Journey Begins!

Found the gameplay really slow bogged down compared to the F version. Most mods don't work but a few do. Finding a new crashed ship was easy, crashed ship locator mod works. You can find a ship with a lot more slots but most are broken and fixing a single slot costs 100K. So a 25 slot ship has 8 working slots compared to your 15 slot starting ship.
Finding tech is a major pita. You can get tech from aliens sometime. Multitools are available in various bigger slot sizes but expensive over a mil $. You can buy tech for your ship on space stations but I'm looking for tool techs. I gave up and stopped playing. If you like base building it might be fun. I never cared for that in the F version so I'm done.
I have so many more things to adventure onwards to!

But this is beautiful

O man, what a nice one! That's the most remarquable picture of NMS I've seen so far, and there are many.
Don't tell where you have taken this shot from, but I guess u have used a mod and approached a building in a very unusual way...Interesting..Or did you use Photo Mode inside a station?

Neither actually, It's Vanilla NMS, and I'm Outside in a freighter convoy....I passed by it and noticed something very very odd, went into photo mode, and BAM...there it was!
MORE Pics, from my most recent venture, Also I took more freighter pics, yup, chairs still outside!

Ah. My first (actually second, but first since I re-bought the game) Atlas relay, 2 convoys, and some space rocks!

also Immediately after I left the relay, the second fleet warped in and popped a distress signal. my god that space fight was tough without beam lasers.

I DID IT! I haven't played since my gaming laptop died....in March....so I started this again on my desktop (no cloud save yet, so, I had a local save from version 1 on my desktop), updated the game; and my first find upon starting in 5 mins? a 45 slot ship! nice upgrade from my 18 slot one!....just not to thrilled it's gonna cost like 60 million to "repair" the inventory slots, oh well!

I like your pics, but please do yourself a favor: don't use a laptop to play these games that need so heavy hardware ressources, use a desktop computer instead (or PS4). Laptops have very poor ventilation capabilities, they will soon overheat if you play these games for a long time. My HP Pavilion i5 (very good 7 years ago) has a broken LCD anchor just for that reason (overheating) and a repair isn't worth it.
