Anybody, Devs expecially, know when a Linux Port will be made?

I just switched to Linux and was under the assumption that to be sold on GOG, a game had to have a Linux port.
I think that that assumption is incorrect. There is no requirement for games to support Linux or MacOS to be listed on GOG. If you are running something like Fedora or Ubuntu it is worth trying Wine as I have found it works well.

Wine HQ listing:

It might be worth asking Hello Games if there will be a native version for Linux.
Yeah no news on a Linux port from the Devs, and to be honest i think they have their hands more than full with their current support for Windows (PC), PS4 and Xbox! So many bugs! So many patches needed!

Linux?

They can barely get the fucking thing running consistently on Windows.

I have an NMS account on Steam as well as GOG and it runs fine there on Mint Linux 20.2 with Proton 6.5 EXCEPT I haven't gotten discovery services working yet. (BTW, you can transfer goods and materials from one player account to the other if you go meet yourself at the same location).
