flammenbringer: Not offering a native Linux version in 2016 feels like an insult. I can accept older games needing wine, meself having used it for Linuxgaming for years, but since Valve is pushing SteamOS, publishers that won't support Linux are just to be avoided, IMHO.
Yes and no. You need to keep in mind that just as Ubuntu, SteamOS is based on Debian, and SteamOS itself isn't even fully developed yet. Plus, this game is
very ambitious, and the main target would of course be the majority of gamers: Windows users, since that brings in most of the revenue that is needed to roll out updates, keep servers running and
optimising the game for other operating systems.
I would love NMS to support Linux though. <- That and driver support are the only things currently keeping me away from Linux gaming.
