I do not know how any lockdowns or shutdowns affect GOG staff but since they send several emails a week about a new sale they don't appear to be closed.

Last week there was an Experimental update that supposedly fixed the landing problems which was released the next day for all. All except GOG that is.
GOG does not control updates, thats up to the devs... blame Hellogames. did you get the 8.9Gb update yet or is that the one you are talking about?
v2.4 Mech update is now downloading via Galaxy, the offline files will take a while .. But I guess the fix from last week is now included.
There is an Experimental update to fix problems with the 2.40_Exomech_58828 specifically for problems with the Minotaur plus a crash problem or at least for Steam purchasers. It may be that this came out too late in the day for GOG to get to this but can only wait and see if this is available for GOG.
I'm guessing GOG will lag behind a bit more than usual due to Covid-19, Hellogames are working from home, and I would imagine GOG are in the same boat. So uploading Offline Installers may be a bit more convoluted in producing them.

The new update is full of bugs and performance problems, so its currently more stable to stay at 2.3x
So still waiting for Experimental Branch Patch 10/04 and 14/04.

I received those. Do not have access to the 10/04 build number but this morning I downloaded and installed Experimental_59018. You might want to verify the settings in Galaxy.

I am using Galaxy 1.2.67 and do not know if what your are experiencing could be unique to the 2.0 Beta.

I don't use Galaxy and only care for offline installers. Here the last available ones are still for 58900.

Experimental is not available for offline downloading. This is their version of a beta for patches and updates.

Well, the description of the last offline patch is "Patch (2.40_ExoMech_58828 to Experimental_58900)".
But I guess it's just a misleading naming scheme again, since this patch is the same as official Exo Mech patch 2.41 (which again is the same as experimental branch 08/04).

Guess I have to wait for official 2.42 then...

Its probably a good thing there is some lag. The current steam version is crashy as hell. Something is broken in the display loop as well. For some reason randomly the camera will move an unknown distance at about 210 degrees.

I still have not been able to get "online" because the network drops if it gets access less than 10 minutes after starting the game. Did not complete the weekend community mission last weekend because I could not get "online" hopefully will be able to this weekend.

You are correct. Those that allow Experimental almost always see that their Experimental build magically changes version when the patch is officially released without any downloading or installing.

For example, today I went from Experimental_59018 to 2.4.2_EXOMECH_59018 but I have automatic updates disabled and no download occurred. This happens whenever the Experimental version is released to all or main without any changes.
2.42_Exomech_59018 is available as on offline download. GOG released it over 12 hours ago (17 April 2020).

O_o so it is, I checked earlier today (less than 12 hours) and did not get the usual notification blue dot on the game.

Just checked now, still no blue dot notification, but after expanding the Offline Backup Installers, sure enough the files are there :)
