I have 3 monitors and on one of my monitors, I've setup an excel spreadsheet with a lot of information that helps me in the game, one of which is a list of all of the items I have in my each of storage bins. I have to go look at each bin and "plug in" the numbers, which takes 2-3 minutes to do, but to me, it's worth the effort since the only way you can access that information is when you're physically next to the bins (which by the way I have set all in a big "U" and standing in the center, I can just turn to each one to see what they contain without moving).
Now for the question: I don't need to do this right away and don't know if there is actually even a way TO do it, but does anyone know if there MIGHT be a way to have my computer access the information that says how many of each item there is in my storage units (I would think that someone who creates "Mod's" probably knows how to do that...) Then I could setup a Macro that would go grab that information, rather than getting it "manually")
I would think there's a way to do this - but not sure where I'd begin...
Thanx,
Dennis
