Hey, wow!

I am playing NMS under Lutris on Linux. It runs very well, maybe even better than Windows!

I havent tested multiplayer yet though.

Hey John,

I also play under Linux. However, I use the 'Bottles' tool for this. It also runs Galaxy and therefore also the multiplayer mode for NMS.

But I've also heard of people running Galaxy/NMS multiplayer with Lutris.

That's cool. I'll have to try Bottles since Lutris doesnt seem to like Galaxy at all.

Thanks for the tip!
Give me your thoughts ...

Many of you know of my fondness for planet Iraksh in GoG-83.

But there are so many bases on there my game slows to a slideshow.

What is your favorite planet anywhere in GoG Space? I'd like to relocate my Polestar base.

Thanks!

PS, Rost, Bottles works great!
Wow! This place is a bustling hub of flurried activity!

So nothing new apart from expedition stuff? I'm still not familiar with these expeditions... Is that something you should have tried? :D

Expeditions are fun. They are time limited, though. Check out this new update:

https://www.nomanssky.com/omega-update/

The expeditions give great rewards and offers more structured gameplay. Also after you complete an expedition you can continue on that same save file forever, keeping all the goodies you earned. Also you can redeem the big rewards for free at the QS shop for ALL your other saves!

The new expedition terminal in the Anomaly was added for this update. With it you can take any save file and use it to load stuff for the expedition, then start the expedition. When you fix your ship and reach the Anomaly you can retrieve all that stuff. I packed mine with hazard protection modules and lots of raw materials like oxygen, dioxite, uranium, launch fuel, warp cores, etc.

Watch the video and read the patch notes. This is a fun expedition!
Si I now have completed my first expedition... It felt a bit like I was playing a beginner's tutorial, but it was okay. Especially because I had already forgotten a few things :D
Awesome!

COME ONE, COME ALL to the NEW GoG HQ!

I started another HQ base on one of Jent's planets. See screenshot for glyphs.

Give me ideas and feedback please!
