I just download the game and start. The game start on "windows mode" and show "Initialise...".

But nothing happend(5 minutes waiting). Have I wait too much?

Press (and hold) E... or X or whatever the screen shows below.

To add to that, even if you rebind the keys, it will still show "E" on the prompt. You have to hold whatever you bound to "interact" for it to proceed.

Also, if you change the graphics settings, you have to click and hold on Apply while the wheel goes around. Since the wheel is two tones of white, it is hard to see if it is going around or not. I hope they patch it to add an audio cue, or change the colors to have more contrast or something.

(I was wondering why my framerate was so crappy on a new system, and it was because it was still at 30fps cap, even though I had thought I had set it to 60).

Actually it's the devs who are retarded... :)
This adds nothing to the game (except confusion). They should get rid of this in an upcoming patch.

Agreed. It is confusion that really adds nothing to the game.
