Installed No Man’s Sky successfully with file verification. I launched it from the GOG installer and went through the visual of flying through the stars. Some of the planets have names. Screen went white with the words “Initialize...” and the letter E with a circle around it blinking at me. It has been here for 15 minutes. CPU usage shows NMS.EXE at a constant 13%.
I alt-tabbed out to check the process CPU usage and I can not get the image back on the screen. When I click on the icon on the task bar another game launches, so now I have two NMS.EXE processes.
When I close both of those and try to run the game I get a game crash with the following:
Problem signature:

I uninstalled the program and re-installed it, exact same thing happened.
Windows 7 Professional 64 bit.
Intel i7-3770k
24 Gbyte Ram
Nvidia 970 video card with current drivers.
Over 1 TByte free disk space.
Has anyone gotten this game to work?
Also Alt-Tab does not seem to work, and the game version is listed as 1.0.0.0, so does this have the patch or not?
