Im at 26/27 flora 18/19 minerals
But for the life of me i cant find the last remaining anywhere.
Have been in caves for hours, nothing, ceiling and floor. Have wasted tons of oxygen underwater, nada.
Been running on my planet for ages, theres just nothing left to scan.

Have scanned all the hostile and consumable plants, two different oxygen plants etc.
Planet has only four different biomes, one barren with tiny rocks and rest is grassy mushroom, caves and occasional bodies of water.

The weird thing is theres a tree practically next to my base that looks exactly the same as other trees but it isnt scannable.
Possible bug?
Or am i just missing something, ... well of course one mineral and one plant, but maybe someone can tell what im looking for?

I feel your frustration here, planets seem to be a good bit harder to finish now than a couple of years ago, they hold their secrets a bit longer. I can tell you that I have seen non-scannable flora that looks very similar or just like scannable flora on some planets, they use the large prop/ environment models for flora and sometimes fauna models (in the case of cabled or glitched planets).

There should be a tech you can make that can pinpoint the thing you havent scanned yet, but make it rediculously expensive to make.
Running around aimlesly hoping to encounter the one thing you havent scanned yet on an entire planet isnt fun at all.

Or upload all silhouettes of all things scannable immediatly if you set foot on a planet, at least you know what you are looking for then.

I found the last mineral I needed at the top of a high(ish) mountain, and that rock / pebble looked almost exactly like the hundreds I must have passed in the days before. It can be tricky at times and just moving around in fairly great distances seems to (literally) change the scenery at times.

Heh, i beginning to doubt. Well at least i have the last plant, a second version of the snappy hostile plant. Been over billions of minerals on all possible sides of the planet, nothing.

Are you on a planet with heavy grasses or ambient flora?

I was running around a planet like that and the mouse passed over some ?????? while i was running. Turned around to scan, and it was a tiny plant, positively miniscule, hidden in the grass, that I would have never seen just looking for it.
