So now there's no way to get the experimental patch?

NathCim: Seriously..?
Feeling like a second class customer right now..
Guess it's back to the old way: buy old games on GoG, buy new ones on Steam or Retail because GoG can't compete with the big ones. Sad.

Not with the gog-Version, but other thread has a blue post that said Hello Games got beta Channel access now and are expected to upload the patch today.

Hagenmaster: Now i can see the experimental channel and GOG seems to download something and says NMS was updated.

Bu the game still crahshes at startup because of lack SSSE 3 om AMD Phenom II Processors.
Nobody should be gaming in 2016 on a Phenom II, that's a decade old processor line.

Can we all agree to move on from that nonsense?

Not really. First of all, they aren't decade old. Second, don't be that guy.
you should know there're no more Products on the am2+ Line, that the phenom 2 need. Am 3 -> forget it

for am3+ with the new amd CPU's - you need a new mainboard and ram -> and if you want play actual games you nedd 500 or more from your local currency. But why bought an old fx cpu, when amd brings new zen cpu's in december or january with am 4+ sockets

phenom 2 was a good cpu, handling mostly actuall games with his power

NO!
II have played every type of independent and triple A game and run all manner of intensive applications on my Phenom II 1090T for the past 6 years and since Zen is not out yet, I see absolutely *no* reason for this one game to fail to run.
NOT AGREED!
My Amd Phenom II 1100T 3.3ghz, 6 core, 125w, was a execellent overclocker at amost 4.6ghz on air,
compared to my Amd FX-6300 3.5ghz 6 core, 95w cpu max overclock 3.7ghz on air,
that's just 200mhz compared to 1300mhz!
How about this, we agree to stop arguing about the type of processor folks use?

There are plenty of other fixes in those patches we've not gotten as well.

I don't need the Phenom fix since my CPU is an Intel Xeon W3680 3.325 GHz running at 4.316 GHz.
Still want the other fixes.

Look, I could get it if the game was just slow on a Phenom, but crashing? that's bad software design.

Thanks for clarifying, but I already saw the point of your post.

@Topic:
So Rigs with older Phenoms are still crashing, even with the experimental Channel awailable?

The experimental is no longer available as of yesterday and GoG has yet to push an update on current channels and has been providing little to no feedback as to when they will pull their head out their A.

Acording to what I've read on steam, the experimental channel patch fixed the SSE4.1 / SSSE3 issue and Phenoms are currently able to play NMS. No news on GOG, as far as I know.

Tyvm, was confused since it seemed to be available @ some point and stuff.

Well, day got some hours left, let's hope for some progress..
