Whenever I'm on the new water worlds the bottom right GUI (which gives you your current mission, and changes on its own frequently anyway which is annoying in itself frankly) keeps flickering and making an annoying noise while doing so.

Is there any way to turn this f*****g thing off, without nixing the rest of the interface?

Is this a known bug or is it just me?

Extrememly annoying, I can't enjoy the game with the constant flickering and noise.

On a temporary basis pressing "H" should help with this.

Has been discussed in several threads on Steam but no one mentioned if they had submitted a ticket on this to Hello Games.

There is a line in 3xperimental (first bullet) that "Fixed an issue with the Hazard Pay milestone in the Titan expedition that could notification messages to flicker." However, GOG users need not apply and this should make it to main sometime soon. It is not clear if this is milestone specific or a more general bug.
