Performance is still bad and other issues are still here. I'm still seeing the occasional planet with invisible creatures, or creatures stuck under the floor as well.

I'm not buying off a company who patches it's games?
I hate this company they doubled staff and are working 24/7 for my benefit.
This company is crap they get fixes out in days when AAA companies like Rockstar and Bethesda take months.

The patch seems to be fine if you were using the original release but it will tell you that the patch is incompatible with the Galaxy version and might break it.

I was happy to get the game finally working on my Phenom with 1287169 just a day ago - the notes only explain up to that patch, it'd be great to know what this one does.

YEs very happy we are getting updates now dont get me wrong.

Just tried it after backing up my whole game dir and getting 10fps less with update so im back to the second patch and staying there. Looks and runs great.

Tested the ship destroyed item, and for me on PATCH3 it works. Each time I was respawned at the Space Station, I was given a working launch thruster and enough fuel for one take-off.
So at least in my experience and testing thus far this is working on GOG patch 3, build 1289496.

I also reverted back from 1289496 to version 1287169 as 1287169 had better performance.
CPU was about 15-22%, GPU 100% and FPS would drop to low 40s.
Same setting on 1287169 had the same CPU usage, only a 70% GPU, and maintained a steady 60 FPS.

Yes through galaxy. The manual download versions seem to be behind the automatic galaxy version at the moment.

It looks like you can see the changelog, if you click on the version number in Galaxy (next to the Play and More buttons). However it does not list changes for the 1289496 version at the moment, even though it says I have it installed. Not sure if it helps, but I have not seen anyone mentioning where the changelog for GoG can be found.
