Okay, the patch I'm missing ends with .9 so that it's GOG's 9th patch. Do you have that one? If so, could you throw it up on a DropBox or Google Drive or something for me? I'd really appreciate it.

Don't have any patch ending in 9. Game 2.7.0.9 is the F update. Game 1.09 had 2 patches about 5 mb size which the last one was 2.6.0.8.

Thanks for that list, Rufus. It's NMS v1.10 that I need, the patch version 2.7.0.9. Was there no patch for that, just the whole game?

EDIT: NM, just saw that you wrote it requires a complete reinstall. Thanks for helping, and thanks TP555 for trying.

The game is not yours. You pay to be allowed to borrow and play it, as the studio likes you to play it. If you don't like the path a game is developed after release, you must take action to divert from that path. If the studio prevents you; bad luck.

You have no right over a virtuelt product, the creators have them all. And they can tell the provider-platform what ever they like, or they can brand all copies on that platform as illegal (extreme option). Then all hell breakes loose...

Please read, and understand the EUAL....
So every game I get off GOG and save to my computer to use whenever I wish is not mine? How are they going to take it back?

What you`ve just said is nonsense and actually makes no sense on a GOG site.

Also, what makes you feel the need to tell people this?

@nipsen,
by saying 'the game is not yours' you are misleading people. The game is YOURS for using it once you have bought it (be it on GOG or elsewhere). The game code is intellectual property of the developers and so you may not modify the game OTHER THAN FOR YOUR PERSONAL USAGE.
That's a big difference and complies with the Eula.

Well, I think you misunderstood me, big time.
Please read my post again.

To be short; If the Studio would force you to update to a version of the game, full of micro transactions and pay-to-win, they are entitled to. By the EUAL. Only way to prevent it, is not to update. Yes, you will loose access to online servers, etc. But EUAL is there to make sure that you are the on loosing money, not the Studio or Publisher.

Hi Gyrofalcon,
sorry to have quoted someone else (Nipsen) instead of you in my last post, also please be sure that I didn't want to contrast you in a big way, but i'll ask you now: what is your point exactly ? The 'Studio' (I guess you mean Hello Games?) is not forcing you to update anything, neither is GOG, the re-seller of the game, forcing you to do anything. If you want you can play NMS with version 1.02 if you want to (one of the first releases if I'm not wrong.) The only problem is that such a remote version is not available anymore after awhile because everyone (Hello Games + GOG + Steam + another possible re-seller) will reasonably think that the NEWEST version is the best one because of improvements included. I advice you to download every version from your account if you want to collect them, do so before they replace these versions (and better have a lot of hard disk space!).

But OK, if the game would go down, no more DLCs, severs down etc. then, all I can say as a player is : oh, that's too bad, the game is dying. But AFAIK, this is not the case with No Man's Sky ...

And again... Nipster was complaining the update broke his game / he didn't like the path the game was taking.
Buhu... If he can't play the version that he liked, because its not availible? He should had made a copy of that version, and kept it on his HDD.
What you are ranting about, I have no idea...

- Added “Set Waypoint” option to the solar system pop-up
Sounds interesting...
Railshot adapter gone from my multitool. And I now find out that my little ship and multitool are both Class C! :-(

- Added “Set Waypoint” option to the solar system pop-up.
It works.

I've already begun my journey back to first planet.
Thanks God, I resisted the temptation to travel to the center of the galaxy and to start all over again after Foundation update.

But I'm a bit concerned since I went through 3 or 4 black holes to get where I am now.

We'll see.
I haven't finished downloading the update yet but I seea few things of yet again GOG getting dumped on in favor of Steam.

Is there a method of Base Building and trading/sharing in the GOG version or is that a Steam exclusive feature now?

--

Also, anyone notice the numbers on the standalone installer files are wrong this time?

Ver - GOG ver - Build ID (Steam Ver)
v1.10 - 2.7.0.9 - 1481116
v1.12 - 2.8.0.10 - 1492442
v1.13 - 2.9.0.11 - 1506566
v1.20 - 2.10.0.13 - 1678189 - MD5 Sums -- Combo breaker 11>13?

-
I see we also got today's experimental (obviously no standalone for the experimental {that comes after they go out of experimental}).
