I would hold off from buying/downloading the "Beyond" update.

The keyboard and mouse/controls are not able to be customised making the game very difficult to play with default key bindings.

Same here. Can't see what keys are currently set to, can't change any keys.

It's possible that changing the bindings in TKGAMESETTINGS.MXML could work.

I have not tried this -- I also haven't updated, yet. ;-)

Yeah, I may have to revert back to 1.77 as this will not work for me... here's to a quick fix patch later on today/tomorrow!

I was really hoping this (keymap bug) would be something as simple as running as Admin--pretty bad to release this patch in this condition--can't set my keys! So, can't play. Also, HDR doesn't work--I turn on HDR in Windows but the game does not detect it. No problems about that, though--this BenQEW-3270U has a gorgeous HDR Emulation mode for the games that don't support HDR--so far the Emulation looks much better than the actual HDR I've seen in the games I have that claim to support it....;)

Same here and only one key is mapped all others are Nil... Jump to Space Bar...hovering over any doesnt allow a change.

I wonder if this means its set to VR so no keyboard Move controls needed??

Also I cant find a setting to alternate between VR or Non VR....which I have seen mentioned some where...

I'm having an issue as well. I can't move. My mouse is... weird. It's like my view follows the mouse cursor kind of. I think I'm stuck in VR mode. I wasn't... and then suddenly I was. There must be some key combination that does that.

Just a hunch but i think the one of the last things the developers will focus on fixing is the control and key binding issues, as the default control schemes work to some degree so the game is not totally unplayable on pc. But i personally can't play without the ability to rebind my controls AND VR on pc is broken for me also oh! well! the wait for fixes continues.

Me too, I realy hate the defailt key bindings, not going to play until this is fixed.

It would seem consoles/PS4 was what they mostly focused on in this update, reports are that VR headsets/controls work find on that platform, but for all us PC gamer's we all got the short end of the stick and have to wait around for fixes because we are last in the pecking order as usual with every release of NMS to date. I sure am disappointed! at least NMS never fails to deliver in that area! :(

You may be right as consoles don't have K&M controls so of course they would ignore, or at least have a low priority with PC controls, all it does is make the update look janked

Yep! as i suspected fixing pc control issues and VR, is last on the list of a very long list of fixes!
