I have three blank blueprints in the Guide for Technology that follow immediately after the Warp upgrades for Warp Reactor Sigma, Tau and Theta but have yet to encounter the blueprints to fill these in. Does anyone have information as to what these are?

Thank You

We need special engines in Exploerer ship to visit colored stars, my guess is, its for those. Since there are three.

Thanks but I ruled already that out as old blueprints that no longer are used had been deleted from the guide several updates ago so we would have seen the Sigma, etc., deleted and colors inserted in their place.

Just to make sure I deleted the Warp Reactor upgrades and all were available for reinstallation (Warp Reactor Sigma, Tau and Theta) under the new names based upon color and I do not have any blueprints with the color names. One upgrade could not be installed because I did not have enough of one resource but the blueprint was available to be used.

It is possible that these are merely placeholders but I had hoped that someone might have found blueprints that filled these in.
I finally tracked these down by going through the Save Game Editor by Goat Fungus. These are Warp Shield upgrades for the Freighter, Sigma, Tau and Theta. However Warp Shields and upgrades are not available and it is unclear if they ever will be. Since there isn't a blank spot for a blueprint for the Freighter Warp Shield that indicates that at one time if was planned to be installed by default such as some of the other basic blueprints that cannot be deleted.
They are avalble now.

Are you referring to the Freighter Warp Reactor upgrades? If you don't mind, just look in the Guide and see if there are three blank technologies listed following Freighter Warp Reactor Sigma, Freighter Warp Reactor Tau and then Freighter Warp Reactor Theta.

Just to make sure - it appears that there are two different groups of technologies/blueprints:

Freighter Warp Reactor Sigma, Tau and Theta are upgrades that came out with Atlas. The blueprints were temporarily unavailable after and of the updates and recently returned to the game but since I found those so long ago they have always been listed as available to me in the Guide.

The Freighter Warp Shields are what I cannot find any reference to. I have searched for any mention of these elsewhere (forums, general searches, etc.) and do not find these even mentioned.
I see what you are saaying and can see them in Save Editor but not in the game.

Someday if Pirates start attacking our freighter we might need these three tiers of shields.

Ive warped right into a pirate Space Battle, and they never switch freighter targets. Ive even helped blast the AI freighter and its defenders, still Pirates just circle, and circle. I have noticed when joining the pirating pirates, the storage pods with no labels have Nanites.

Thanks. I had considered adding them to see what happened but there used to be a warning that adding or enabling something that was not enabled in the game might damage more than just the save game file so I decided not to.
