Hello everyone.
I see used to have dates posted for different countries but now changed it to Aug 12 worldwide.
Doesn't this mean some countries get it early due to timezones ? or will it be coordinated August 12 based on one specific timezone ?

eg: people in New Zealand would be the first people on the planet to get August 12 and it would be their August 13 when the US is on August 12.

Also concerned there is still VERY little information that is new out there. Odd considering release is Friday next week.
Yeah I'm wondering the same thing. The time/date isn't even mentioned on the pre-order page or in my game's library. When exactly is GoG releasing it?
As an Aussie, I'm used to release dates being totally the next day here in Australia by the time they happen.
They could mean August 12 in UTC.

It seems that no one anywhere is entirely sure just what date(s) are correct for the PC release. Hello Games updated their site a few days ago with some ambiguous wording about release dates, and they've been silent (at least to the general public) when asked to clarify. Steam currently shows the old August 9/10/12 dates; GOG & Humble have changed their text to read August 12th worldwide.

For now, it's probably safest to expect to get it on the 12th (in GOG's timezone); some areas may be lucky and get it earlier.
Steam says 10 August.
So 12th August Polish time then. I doubt it will be 12:01am their time though. It could technically mean anything from 12:01am - 23:59 on their 12th :)

So depending where you are it might mean the 13th.

And this is exactly what I came here to find out. Here's hoping GoG gives us something soon. They have to know when they're releasing it I hope. O.o

Steam says 13th for me :/
I wish this was more clear. Steam reports August 9th for NA release. Does that mean NA GoG customers may see August 9th as well, or am I going to regret (for 3 days at least) going with GoG?
I bought it on Gog anyway, the price was cheaper here so yeah.

Steam will vary.

USA 9th
"Europe" 10th
UK and ROW 12th or 12th depending if your time zone means it's the 13th where you are even though it's the 12th in others.

Because GOG is region free it may be 12th/13th only.

Why do you write "Europe"?
I would have to rethink my preordering future games from here if it releases on Steam on the 9th, and GoG on the 12th.

I wondered too and wrote to GoG. Indeed they will release it on the 12th. ( No idea what TZ ) . The thing is , Steam will release on 9/10th and HumbleBundle too. Only GoG is ignoring it. If they dont get their facts straight this might be the last game bought from them.

Just fyi. On SteamDB you can see that HelloGames changed the date THEMSELF to the 10th ( only devs can change it not Valve ). And 2/3 Distributors are on 9/10th only GoG is sadly not able to provide anything.
