It's only a question of time, until someone or another company will sit on this idea, what Hello Games tried to do.
Someone is gonna do it better, prettier and with more content.

Yep. I believe someone has seen the potential (and profit) they could make from a game that actually DOES what NMS couldn`t and will make a game worth its salt. But it will take time.

In a way, it already happened. Just look at all the NMS clones/improvements that are creeping up the early access pipeline. Empyrion, Planet Nomad, Dual Universe, Astroneer to some degree even Star Citizen all follow the same principle formula. It's only a matter of time until someone will strike the right balance. I am looking forward to it.

Oh and kudos to that Doom modder, that's some dam sine work for 3 weeks. Pretty hilarious, actually. :)

Yeah, after the flame out that was NMS, I am seriously considering Star Citizen's early access/kickstarter game. Been a fan of Chris Roberts since Privateer, the game that started my interest in space exploration trade games.
