My brother and I set up our routers/firewalls to have the appropriate ports and rules in place to connect directly to each other's servers. This worked before. Now it doesn't. Any suggestions? All the port forwarding and firewall rules are still the same as when it did work. What could have changed?

Has the hardware changed at all since it last worked for you?

is NWN itself running in local play modes?

What router are you using and is it setup per
