So I recently reinstalled my GoG copy of NWN 1 and downloaded the Premium Mods that I had originally bought way back when I got Diamond back when. Anyway I know the authentication servers are down. But I thought this meant that anyone could play the premium mods now. But I am waiting forever to tell me they aren't connecting. How long do you generally have to wait for them to load? Or do they just no longer work?

No they won't work without authentication :( However if you read through this thread - https://www.gog.com/forum/neverwinter_nights_series/other_premium_modules/page1 you'll find a rather nice solution created by Taro94.

Account--> find NWN1 --> Game Goodies --> Premium Modules Re-installer

Download and run this. I hope I remember correct :))
