Hello folks! I have recently purchased NWN:EE and wanted to play premium modules that I bought many years ago (Kingmaker, Witch's Wake and ShadowGaurd). I also have those on my EE version but wanted to try using the modules from my old box version (because they are in polish, my native language). To that end I copied module files to EE directories however when I try to run them, I get stuck in a static screen (could that be the authentication problem)? I tried copying "premium" directory (the one with .dat files) to data folder and the main installation folder of NWN:EE but that didn't seem to work. Could you please give me some advice how to make my old modules work on EE version?

Edit: Perhaps it would be worth mentioning that the modules themselves work well on regular GOG NWN Diamond Edition, I just thought it would be nice if I could get it to work with EE.

You have to use this to fix it to work:
https://neverwintervault.org/project/nwn1/other/tool/premium-module-offline-authenticator-generator

don't know if it works with EE though, if it does let us know please.

dig your CD key out from your INI file, your going to need it.

I have used this tool many times and always had success with it, but that was before EE.

I've got them working on EE (at least infinite dungeons, the only one I've tried so far). I just copied the module and the haks over from my Diamond folders* and it works fine. I don't think EE needs any authentication.

*Edit - module goes to game "nvm" folder, haks to game "hk" folder.

You do not need the authenticator at all in EE. The DRM was lifted by Beamdog.
In fact, Beamdog mention in their NWN:EE FAQ that if you do have premium installers from the time you bought them, you are free to install them on NWN:EE.

Well I tried again, this time with authenticator. What I did was to copy all the files from my old CD and extracted Setup.exe with 7zip to get the files. I only copied "nwm" and "hak" directories' contents to "nwm" and "hk", replacing the ones that come with EE edition. After doing this I can see my modules in the game with polish description, however when trying to play them I just get redirected to main menu (you can see it in the attached image). The error message says that the module could not be loaded and that the file could be damaged or there was an authentication error.

It didn't help to create a directory "premium" in Neverwinter Nights Enhanced Edition installation directory and in the "data" subdirectory with .dat files created by authenticator though. Ah, I guess I'll have to stick with diamond edition for now. Thanks everybody for help though. :)

the authenticator creates a file that was used to unlock the features, the one you mention was produced, i think you just have to put them in witht he modules if i remember right, then they should unlock, i can't read the polish in the image, if it were in the forum in text i could use google translate, but it isn't.
