I'm trying to install a mod to allow me to utilize Mischa the paladin as a henchman in SOU. The instructions tell me to import the unzipped file into chapter 1, the interlude, and chapter 2. However I do not see an Interlude in the GOG version of the game. Am I doing something wrong? Will it work like intended if I just put it in Chapter 1 and Chapter 2?

Are you sure you don't have an interlude module? It should be in your nwm folder and should be labelled XP1-Interlude.nwm

I highly doubt the mod will work if it's not installed in all three modules.

I see the appropriate files in my folder for sure. However when I open the toolset like instructed in the vault I and click on open module, under campaign modules all I see is a list of these.

Prelude
Chapter1
Chapter1E
Chapter2
Chapter2E
Chapter3
Chapter4

I don't see any way of opening the interlude for SOU or anything at all for HOTU which is really strange.

Here is the link to the vault mod if that helps any!

I'm not familiar with the toolset, but I'm pretty sure those modules listed there are for the main campaign only. No SoU or HotU files. What you could try is copying the SoU files and pasting them into your Modules folder (rename them with a .mod extension instead of .nwm) and see if they show up. This will create the SoU campaign as basically a separate module and you won't be altering your base game files. Win/win?
Well I'm not positive that it worked, won't know for sure till I find her and see if she transitions with me through this xpac; but I think that worked marvelously! Thanks very much for your persistent help!

No worries. Keep in mind though that since you copied into the Modules folder and changed it there, you'll need to access the SoU campaign through your 'other campaigns' button (or 'Other modules' - can't recall exactly what the option is called) when you fire up the game. Otherwise, you'll just be playing the original, unmodded SoU, I believe.

*edit* This is assuming you didn't copy the modded files back into your nwm folder with the nwm extension.

Yeah, I left them in the module folder. No need for me to augment the originals and take risks of messing things up. So far so good.

Thanks again for all the help!
