Can anyone help please?

I downloaded using the GOG downloader. Checked the file before install and it appears to have installed okay.

CLick the icon, and it just tells me it has stopped working and I have to exit.

I tried compatibility with Windows XP SP2 but same thing.

I'm on a quad core Intel Q9400. Sapphire Radeon HD6870 flex edition GPU.
Windows 7 64 bit.

Any ideas ?

Thanks.

Edit: Oh well what do you know. I right clicked on the shortcut, went to COMPATIBILITY and selected XP Service Pack 3 and it appears to have fixed it.

Just adding this for others.

Good to hear that it works for you now, and thanks for posting that you fixed your problem.#
Have fun playing the game.
Thanks, it's been years since I played but it's all coming back.

Cheers :)

P.S. This can be marked solved.
You did not opened it as a question, so it can't be marked as solved.
But that will sort itself out as it will be buried and sinks to the second page ;)
just posting here to say this helped me when i had a new os install and the game wouldnt play just blank screened me
Mine starts fine but i just wanted to know if this version comes with the toolset
I downloaded the diamond version with the gog downloader, but the one we have at my school has a different intro page and that one has a toolset option. This one, however does not. I would like to know if it comes with it and if it does how can i acces it.
Yes it comes with the toolset.
In your Neverwinter Nights Diamond Edition directory look for nwtoolset.exe & click on it.

Where do you find the toolset? is it in the game or in the file you downloaded it in?
