Trying to create a new character for NWN Diamond and this shows up for several of the selectable outfits (tried to upload screenshot but my computer didn't want to capture the screen). I can see the characters head/hands/feet but not the body. I tried going with one that does show up normally, but after getting into the game and trying to equip the starting robe, the same issue showed up. I've looked around for fixes but can only find solutions for ATI cards, which I don't have. I've turned off and set all video options to their lowest values, but that doesn't fix it. Neither did the 1.69 patch.

Which module are you creating the character in?

What's in your override folder?

Fresh install didn't fix it. Neither did running it in compatibility modes, vista, 8, 7, xp, all as administrator. It's surprising how I can't seem to find any other threads of people having this issue. I've decided to just play the game anyway in the hopes that it only affects the starting equipment. Still, if anyone knows how to fix this problem I'd like to hear it.
Some people have reported fixing problems *like this* with the default content and models by changing the "environment mapping on creatures" setting (advanced video options from main menu)

If it's an option, try switching to integrated graphics or update/rollback your display drivers. A clumsy possible solution, it is admitted, and no one should have to go through it, but it certainly has increased compatibility for some people.
If you're using an NVIDIA graphics card, you'll need to roll back to driver version 385.41. All versions after that have a bug where various textures appear invisible.
Happily, this problem is fixed as of the latest NVIDIA driver update (390.77, released 2018-01-29), so it's no longer necessary to revert to an older driver version to fix this. The release notes for 390.77 even mention Neverwinter Nights specifically.

Good call, thanks. That's some timing for a sudden fix on a game that's 10+ years old.

Thanks, updated to 390.25 on linux, that fixes the issue running in wine, too.
