Hello,

I've just noticed something odd while playing the Original Campaign of Neverwinter Nights 1. In Chapter 2 i've noticed the my characters name (that appears when you Mouseover the character) turns green instead of blue. This only happens outside in Port Llast, if you enter a building or leave the town the name is blue. NPCs in Port Llast still have blue names. My Henchman name is also green unless i fire her in which case it turns blue.

I honestly can't remeber if this has happened since i started chapter 2 or not. It doesn't seem to be affecting anything but I can't find any reference to this sort of thing and i'm worried it might indicated a problem with by game or my saves. My game recently crashed when i clicked exit to menu otherwise its been running fine.

Any Advise would be appreciated

When a name is green, you're not allowed to attack the target; it's "allied" to you. When the name is blue, you can turn hostile against them (although many have plot immunity and cannot be damaged). In the NWN1 OC, the vast majority of NPC's are blues. It would make sense for your henchmen to be green when serving you, and turn blue if you fire her. This all seems normal.
