Hi guys, been experimenting with the controls for a while but I'm having real trouble getting the party to move & attack together. I use the broadcast commands for follow, attack, guard etc, but this seems to work sporadically or only on summoned creatures. Otherwise, I have to click on each party member individually and make them move/attack. There's not even a "drag the mouse over everyone & issue the same command" option like with NWN1.

Can you please give me the idiots guide to moving and co-ordinating the entire party. Eg should AI be on or off, should broadcast commands work or are they just text for multiplayer, anything else I seem to be missing. Cheers
AI should be on.
Puppet mode off.
Peaceful follow party on.
Auto Set of Companion Behaviors (Global) on.
Defend Master on.

I usually drag "Guard Me" into a toolbar like in the attached pic.
Sometimes the AI is disabled for a cut scene, and just clicking on guard me is enough to turn it back on.

Thanks - I'll try that setup. I couldn't drag any of the broadcast commands to the toolbar either, nor could I "set" them directly in a tool bar slot - was first thing I tried. How can you actually make that happen - I access the broadcast commands via right-click on a character. Is there another way that allows dragging?

Press V (for voice) Then W (for Combat) and just drag the guard me icon from there to your toolbar.
I usually drag Hold as well, to stop them walking into traps.
Got it - that's super useful - thanks. Weird that you can't drag from the same commands in other menus
