why is it a seperate download for a universal update?, is the game already patched seeing as it says 2.1.0 and are there any noteable fanpatches?

There was an oversight in the original GOG release of NWN2 and DRM was left in the Mysteries of Westgate adventure. The patch removes that. The patch is only necessary for people who downloaded the GOG release prior to that fix.
