As far as I know, you can have as many modules/campaigns installed at the same as you want.

There are some excellent fan modules out there with original content, and while the IWD and BG remakes are well done, imo one's time is better spent playing the aforementioned fan modules instead, especially if you have already played the original BG and IWD games.

Don't install such mods together. They are too large, and may overlap in some manner. Don't worry though, provided that a mod you install only uses the 'Documents' folder you can just create different 'Neverwinter Nights 2' folders inside of your 'My Documents', and rename them as needed. For example, create one called 'Neverwinter Nights 2 - BGR', one called 'Neverwinter Nights 2 - IWD', one called 'Neverwinter Nights 2 - OC', etc. and install to the appropriate folder and rename the one you wish to play to simply 'Neverwinter Nights 2'. Simple.

Yikes! Seems kinda a pain, but I guess that's how it is. This engine is really cool- I can't wait to see what it can do!

Some mods may express that they are compatible with another, for example Kaedrin's PrC pack. There's even a list of mods that are compatible with it since Kaedrin's pack is so popular:

Kaedrin's PRC pack is implemented in BGR, (altough if you don't install it separately you won't be able to use it for other campaigns) and so are most of the models from the facelift pack.

BGR contains a modified version of Kaedrin's, so it is compatible after a fashion.

The authors of BGR specifically state that NO other mod should be installed at the same time, period.

Nothing on their mod-page or in the readme states, that you can't play other mods at the same time. The only imperative they gave is, that the Override-folder should be empty.

Go and talk to Shallina.

Why? The readme is pretty clear on the matter. To quote: "Remove all custom content from both Override folders as this will cause conflicts with the game."

Mods that either don't use custom content at all, or only in the form of hak-files, should work fine.

You ask why? Because Shallina can tell you more than a readme can, as she has done in the forums, and she is co-author, that is why.
