I need some serious help. I was having issues with NWN2 launcher that resulted in me uninstalling NWN2 and reinstalling NWN2. Unfortunately after the reinstallation I am having even more issues. I am missing the entire top line:
FILE EDIT VIEW PLUGINS HELP
GRID OCCLUSION GRID COLLISION SURFACE MESH BAKED WIREFRAME SKELETONS SHADOWS WATER NORMAL MAPPED TERRAIN FRAME RATE BLOOM USE AREA FAR PLANE FOG SKY DAY/NIGHT SOUND MUSIC
FILTERS SHOW/HIDE SELECTION SNAP SELECT OBJECTS PART OBJECTS S ELECT TERRAIN PART TERRAIN TILES SET START LOCATION PAINT SPAWN POINT CREAT TRANSISION DRAG SELECTION

Is there anyone who can help me with this? I am very excited about trying to make my own modules but cannot do anything.
I would first start by trying hold down the Alt key & press V & then O & then at the bottom of the screen that comes up, hit reset.
Then shut the toolset ( Alt F & then X) & restart it.

If that doesn't sort it out, explain what trouble you were having that made you uninstall/reinstall.

Thank you for the assistance. Unfortunately that did not work. I did the original uninstall/reinstall because of the missing information. I was hoping that would correct the problem, but to no avail. Any other suggestions?

Are you talking in the game, or just the toolset?
The usual things that stop NWN2 from installing & running properly are :
You need the old 9.0C directX files.
These come with the game & should be installed with it, but some antivirus software will stop the installer program from registering the old .dll's
You can get all the old DirectX files Here:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8109
Save the June 2010 runtimes to a temporary folder on your desktop.
Scroll down and run DXSETUP.exe
When it says Installation complete, you can delete the temporary folder from your desktop.

If it gives you a error message, it means your antivirus software is stopping it.

The Toolset, but not the game, needs the early version .Net Framework 2.0
It comes with Windows 10, but I don't think it is installed by default.
You should go to "Turn windows features on or off" & make sure the early versions are ticked. (See attached pic)

The other thing is you need enough free space on your C: drive, even if the game is installed elsewhere.

If you have installed it twice & have enough free space on your C: drive, I would suggest reinstalling with your antivirus software disabled.
