So I sent the elf cleric ahead of me to trigger a very strong trap, it ended up killing her. I Recalled out a minute or so later and she is nowhere to be found in the temple of Tyr. Is there a console command or something that will summon her in front of me? She really filled every role that I needed, healer tank and support, leaving me to be dps. Now I can hardly sustain myself with Daelan, Grim or Tomi.
In the original campaign, henchmen are supposed to respawn at a temple. Are you seriously saying you sent Linu into a deadly trap without saving first?

I did save, but she died prior and suffered no ill effects aside from being removed from the party. So I gathered up my loot, got some good stuff, and decided to save out of habit, before I recalled back. Thinking she would be there, I didn't think anything of it. So now the quicksave is voided and the last hard save was before I entered the dungeon.

Ouch! If I were you I would bite the bullet now, before proceeding any further, cut my (time) losses and reload the last hard save.

It will probably come to that. Is this a common bug or something? Should I not save before recalling, or recall immediately when they die?

I've not come across this before. As to saving, the sensible thing to do is always make explicit saves (not quick saves) before doing anything risky, and don't make the mistake of only maintaining one save. Make at least 5 or 6 that you can fall back on -- save *often*. When you have successfully completed a risky task, save again, immediately. This is the same for any game, not just NWN.
