Hi,

I just downloaded the NWN2 Soundtrack from GoG and while listening to it, I heard crackling noises in my favorite song.
19 - Ilfan Ruins Theme.mp3, most noticeable from 0:35 to 0:45 on the left channel.
Both the flac and the mp3 versions are affected.

Does somebody maybe have the song without the errors?
I don't remember them from back when I played the game, or are they really in the original game files?

I have the FLAC version (downloaded a couple of years ago) and there is no crackling. See attached wave table. I doubt they have changed in that time. Try re-downloading.

NB: The song itself is too large to attach to a forum post.

Thank you, you are right.

I identified the problem:
My headphones which seem to have problems with some frequencies in this part.

The crackling vanishes when using my laptop speakers or my mobile phone speakers.
Not really a solution of course, seems I need new headphones.
