I'll start this off with :

Bioware's Site - Contains dead links?

And from other posts here :

NW Vault - Not working properly - as above?

Community Expansion Pack - Working.

Bioware's Social site Massive List of modules

I seem to remember IGN hosted a definitive resource of all the mods, along with the sequel.
The Vault or something like that, lot of adverts though.

On You Tube there are quite a few videos of the Golden Dragon award nominations which include every type of RPG you could want, from dialogue heavy to pure hack n slash. So it's a good place to check out some of the best modules in action.
too bad a lot of the links on that bioware page lead nowhere and NWN vault seems to be glitching..

Yeah both you and LordCinnamon have found it.

The place is easy to navigate and find just the kind of rpg your after. The Eye Of Beholder remakes are pretty cool and there are a series of linked modules where you play a Drow that i loved.

I'm sure someone will start a Favourite Module thread shortly :) (My memory sucks)
The Community Expansion Pack.

Described here: http://nwn.bioware.com/players/cep.html

However, none of the download links you can get to from here seem to be working. I found a working one here: http://games.softpedia.com/get/Mods-Addons/Neverwinter-Nights-Community-Expansion-Pack.shtml

I just tried looking round the IGN site to see if anything jumped out and kickstarted my brain, but i can't seem to bring up the module lists.

Will have another quick look.

uhm. Yeah, that was the `not working properly' I mentioned. Should have been more explicit, I suppose :P

Of course one of the best times to be had with NWN is in multiplayer games. There are still some great servers out there, generally reffered to as Persistent World servers or PWs.
One of the best parts of this game is in the toolset and the DM client.
They cater to all sorts of playstyles from general hack n slash, tp pvp to Dungeons and Dragonms style rp.
One of my favorites over the years has been the World of Avlis which can be found here http://www.avlis.org/portal.php

Also a very good source for multiplayer gaming can be found at http://www.neverwinterconnections.com/
They have a very good and helpful community. They mostly cater to dnd style scheduled games that involve a small party of players and a dm, although their forum does have a section for announcements oif PWs as well.
Great resource for players, folks interested in learning about dming multiplyer NWN games and for builders as well.

Another great resource for the community over the years is the Neverwinter Nights Podcast. Some very informative and entertaining shows can be found there. This year the folks running it took a break but they are planning on starting up again with new shows soon.
The original website can still be found right here http://www.neverwinternightspodcast.com/
But they are in the process of moving to a facebook page

When it works again, you should look up the Pretty Good Char Creator 3 (or PGC3) v44beta on NWVault. It's a must if you want to level and equip your chars outside of modules. Especially if you want to play modules that don't level your char at the beginning and you want to start with higher levels or better items.

I also recommend Good vs Evil (3), an action module somewhat similar to DOTA... :)
Can anyone remember that Monty Python styled mod?
Because thats the one i want to play again! XD

I think you mean A HUNT THROUGH THE DARK series. It has six parts if memory serves me correctly.

I'll also recommend the modules Alraiven & Shadewood as well as Tortured Hearts 1 & 2.
