If you mean how as in "what to click", when you reach enough experience for a new level, your character portrait will change into a sort of static "bubbling" picture. Click on that; go through the lists.

If you mean how to build the character, that depends on what type of paladin you're aiming at. If you're going sword-shield-heavy armour for example, Exotic Weapon Proficiency so you can use a Bastard Sword, Weapon Focus for same, Power Attack, then Cleave (if Paladins can get Cleave; can't remember) is a valid starting point.

I posted this question in another thread, but since this one is explicity about NWN2 builds, I'll ask it again here.

Does anyone know a good Anti-Paladin build for NWN2? I want to construct it after the Shadowknight class in Everquest. They are like warriors with Necromancer skills, with a heavier emphasis on the warrior part; he should be more of a tank than a caster.

Now, I figure a Fighter-Blackguard would make sense, but in NWN2 Blackguards seem to be a bit lacking in evil magic spells. Would a fighter-wizard (necromancer specialty) be effective?
Paladins can be tough because they have high AB with pretty good saves. You may not want to be evil to avoid their smites and negate their protection from evil spell. Disarm may work, but then again they have the high AB. Their reflex saves should be the lowest so maybe use spells that require a reflex saves and try to entagle the paladin. Remember they are immunde to disease.

I haven't played NWN2 in a while but how about a Bard/Black Guard/Pale Master multi-class?
