No.

It may or may not run with a windows emulator, and it runs if you have a windows parallel install, but It won't run on OS. It never did. Not even the vanilla version.

There is a mac version of NWN 2, but this is not the version that's available here. You can still find copies on Amazon and Ebay:
http://www.amazon.com/Neverwinter-Nights-2-Mac/dp/B000UGNLGY

This version does not include the toolset or expansions. The expansions can be ripped from a Windows disc but it's a royal PITA. The toolset is Windows ONLY.

The best way to run NWN2 on a mac is on a machine with a parallel windows install.

The upside of Mac version is that you get the original unaltered AI and gameplay - not really available anywhere else these days I think - but on the downside there could be some stability issues.

I actually only could play NWN2 until the fairly recent gog.com release on my actual Mac partition - it worked, but required frequent save games due to vulnerability to crashing on area transition or a rather vicious bug of either Casavir or Khelgar permanently dying if Naloch (Elanee's familiar) was around at certain times (=rare!!).

Mind you: the instability could do with my stubbornness of not wanting to upgrade my Mac OS to even Snow Leopard (let alone anything higher) because to my mind OS should not have to be changed any time the corporation has the whim to milk the end users (be it Apple or Windows).

I think I will still play the OC on Mac in fullness of time just because of the gameplay, and consider myself privileged to have access to both original and upgraded gameplays.

As such, I came to post my cultural shock (=positive amazement) that the gog.com version now released is super stable!! Well done, really! But my Mac game cd will remain precious still, for sure!
