FaihoNaga: I feel scammed because I made the consious decission to purchase an older game only because GOG mentions how their game selection has been updated or modded to work for current systems. I've bought countless games on Steam without any issues. Regarding support, I could be missing something but when I go to contact them about technical issues it doesn't actually let me contact them. It just constantly sends me to their Common tech issues page and I've done just about everything there with no change.
Example
Running in compatability mode
Running the .exe file directly
ect.
Ah, well now. I apologise. You didn't say you'd done any of that lot - we don't know what you've already tried unless you tell us. Regarding the feeling scammed - GOG do do their best with updating and patching games to make them work on modern systems, but it is impossible to guarantee every game to work on every system with no tinkering required.
And yes, you can contact GOG support through the support link. The 'contact them' bit is to the right of the list of common tech issues, just under the 'system requirements' section.
Something you might try though... I always had problems with running NWN1 on my old laptop, which had an ATI graphics card. I ended up having to hunt down the file atioglxx.dll from the install folder of my graphics drivers, and copy it into the installation folder for NWN. As far as I know the engine for NWN2 is pretty similar, so the same thing may work for you.
