I played this game abit ago, decided to skip the tutorial. Decided on cleric, but I cant seem to remember how to memorize spells. I've clicked, double clicked and tried dragiing them into the memorized area. Can someone jog my memory? hehe
Press B to open the spell menu, select the spell you want to memorize in the window on the left side of the screen, then click on the small arrow after the spell name and the question mark, on the right side of the spell box you selected.

Clicking and dragging the spell icon over to the window on the right side of the screen should work too, even if it is more roundabout. Just dropping the icon wherever in the window won't do anything though, you need to put it in a free box under the correct level header. Just use the arrow buttons instead, that the simplest way.

And don't forget to rest, of course. ;)

hmmmm I don't have any arrows nor empty boxes in memorized spells. I only have one lvl in cleric atm the rest are in fighter would that affect anything?
1st level clerics get a few spells, so that shouldn't be a problem.

Is this for NWN1 or 2? I haven't played 2, so I don't know if the process is the same for both.
NWN 2, I get elanee with the boxes in her spellbook, but I do not. I'm at this point 5 fighter lvls 1 clereic with war and undead domains.

mattr349: NWN 2
Whoops, you should have mentioned that in your OP, but I didn't pay attention to it either, so my bad. My reply was actually for NWN.

I haven't played NWN2 in quite a while, but when I check now I see that clicking on the spellbook options opens two windows, similar to NWN, "Known Spells" and "Memorized Spells". The memorized spell window should show headers for Level 0 and Level 1 in your case, and either empty or filled boxes below these headers (or, if not, click on the header to display them). If the boxes are empty, you just need to click on a Level 0 or Level 1 spell icon in the "Known Spells" window in order to memorize it. It should then appear in a box under the according level header in the "Memorized Spells" window. If the boxes in the "Memorized Spells" window are filled already, you can clear them by clicking on the icons under the level headers. Dragging icons does not work, it's only for puting them into quickslots, I guess.

At least this is how it works for me. If it doesn't work this way for you, there must be something wrong.

Ya, didn't realize the forum was for both games, just used the kink view forums option on the drop down menu for NWN2. I have Known spells in my spell bookbut nothing in my memorized spells and no empty boxes to fill.

No spell level headers either? No "Level 0", "Level 1"? Is the page in the "Memorized Spell" window completely blank, without any buttons or text on it?

Multiclassing, eh? What is your character's wisdom score?

To cast divine spells of level N, you need a wisdom score of at least 10+N. If you only have 10 (or less), you will not be able to use divine spells.

That was it, I didn't think of that. The build I'm following only calls for one lvl of cleric and a wisdom score of 8.
