Several people have commented in the linux thread with helpful workarounds to get this up and running on linux by downloading a separate client and then copying the unpacked files over.

Is there a similar way to get this working on OSX?

I use Crossover to play all my GOGs on my Macbook. It's worked well so far, with the occasional hitch. If you're partial to... alternate aquisition methods... it's on most torrent sites (Demonoid is where I got mine). It's basically WINE with a nice frontend. Might want to try that.

I'm running it using WINE and don't have any problems at all.

Check the NWN Mac FAQ 3.09.2 for a wrapper script to install/run it.
