I know that both games (not sure about the expansions, but if the engine of the base game has already been ported over, it can't be that difficult) have Mac OS X versions. I was wondering if there's any chance of seeing Mac installers for them on GOG any time soon.

I don't know the legal logistics, I'm going to assume that Aspyr owns the rights to the Mac ports, but if GOG could get System Shock 2 from EA, then I'm sure that they can get rights from Aspyr.

Although the expansions were never officially released for the Mac, all of them will work if you put the files in the right places.

I was wondering to what extent GOG might be willing to do that, though, since it's a highly unsupported scenario that's never been officially tested by any developer, publisher, etc. I don't know of any, but there *could* be issues with that setup.

On the other hand, GOG recently released the Windows version of Heroes of Might & Magic II as an unsupported "extra," so they could do the same here. That would be pretty cool.
