first of all, let me just say that i enjoy a good story. and i love almost every story ever, my heart is open to nearly every tale there is.


having said that, i have heard many people say that neverwinter nights main campaign has a weak story. that baffles me, as i have found neverwinter nights main campaign to have probbaly one of the best story's in gaming history.

can't speak for the expansions, havn't played them.

I too enjoyed the vanilla campaign and believe that it does not get its due respect. Its reputation no doubt suffered from the inevitable comparisons to Baldur's Gate II.

Since enjoyed vanilla, you'll also enjoy the expansions.

I totally agree. The vanilla story is awesome.

The expansions are way better though.

And after that continue to some pretty amazingly good community modules.

I liked NWN main campaign, wasn't the greatest I've played but certainly not the disaster some consider it.
Shadows of Undrentide was about the same quality, while Hordes of the Underdark way better yet.

But some of those community created works... man, those are masterpieces.
